Chocolate which is commonly called red here in the USA which is slightly confusing because in other countries they call ee
red dogs red. I guess brown would be better than chocolate because it is really a brown gene.
A chocolate merle is usually called a red merle but again it would really be a chocolate merle. If you have a chocolate merle
complain to the Border Collie Society of America that they haven't put the right info out for color.
