G-Force Border Collies Purchase Contract. Please read the whole contract before you get a puppy from me.
Total purchase price is $1000 and is for Limited Registration. Limited Registration allows a pup to show in performance events other than conformation and does not allow for this pup to become a breeding dog. Please see Breeding requirements for more information on the possibility of breeding this dog. Full registration is $1500.00 and allows for conformation showing and future breeding prospect.
We will only hold the pup for one week after he/she turns 9 weeks old unless other arrangements are made so please make sure you will be ready for this pup when he/she is 9 weeks old. If you are unable to get the pup at 9 weeks I need to be told ahead of time so we can make sure we will be available to keep the pup. The only exception is if I feel the puppy should stay longer or the whole litter will be staying longer due to illness or should they be exposed to any illness or disease at the vet clinic that we are made aware of. No shipping arrangements will be made unless the puppy has been paid in full. If puppy is paid via check our bank will hold the check for a week and we will not ship a puppy until the check is off hold.

Shipping is an additional $370.00 for shipping via Continental/United or Delta airlines. Buyer pays all shipping costs. Should a pup need to be kenneled overnight at an airport the airport will charge you a kennel fee.
1.Pup is free from CEA by parentage and one or more of the pups parents are DNA certified CEA/CH Normal.
2.Pup's parents hips are OFA or OFA prelim certified.
3.Pup has been given at least first puppy booster shot.
4: Seller cannot guarantee against worms or other parasites and does suggest pup be wormed again once the pup is in the new home. Because we take our dogs out in public to the vet clinic we do our best but cannot guarantee our puppies will not be exposed to viruses. _______________________________________________sign here
Pup's 72 hour guaranty: Buyer must take Pup to a veterinarian within 72 business hours, or 3 business days, of purchase for a health exam. If Pup is found to have a congenital health defect that will hinder the pups ability to function normally buyer must immediately return pup to Seller for a full refund of the purchase price only. Shipping, travel and additional expenses not refunded. This guarantee only covers the first 72 in which the puppy buyer should take the pup into the vet to have a physical exam of the pup to check for any congenital health defect that will hinder the pups ability to function normally. After the 72 hour full guaranty: We guarantee pups hips for a period of 12 months and we guarantee the pup is not affected by CEA per DNA testing of the parents. No other guarantees are offered on the above listed pup. Please see below.
1: Pup's hip Guarantee: We offer a 12 month hip guarantee on this pup. If before the pups first birthday the pup is to be found to be Mild, Moderate or Severe dysplastic by OFA at that time, Seller will offer a second pup at no charge, from the first available litter the breeder has, once proof has been provided to seller and the dysplastic dog has been spay/neutered must also be microchipped, and proof sent to seller. Shipping of second pup and all expenses involved in shipping are responsibility of puppy buyer. Buyer also has option to send the original pup back to the breeder at the buyers expense should they decide they no longer want to keep the dysplastic dog. Our guarantee is for the first year of the pups life only. We know that with the genetics and environmental aspects of hips things can happen so we do our best by only breeding dogs who have passed OFA or BVA hip examinations. __________________________sign here
2: Pup's eye Guarantee: Seller guarantees this pup free of CEA by parentage. One or both parents are DNA Normal for CEA and that insures no offspring can be affected with the disease. This does not guarantee Normal or Carrier status on any puppy, just that the puppy is free from CEA._____________________________ sign

Additional agreements.
1. Buyer understands that our guarantee covers the first 72 hours should the pup have genetic disease that will hinder the pups ability to function normally, and the puppies hips are covered for a period of one year. 2. Buyer will not abandon dog. Buyer agrees not to give away, trade or sell Pup. If Pup is to be re-homed, the pup must be returned to G Force at no cost to breeder. When pup is returned to G Force all AKC paperwork must be signed over to Patricia Boswell. 3. Buyer agrees to notify Seller of change of contact information of email/ phone/ address
4. Buyer agrees to notify Seller of any health or temperament problem in Pup
5. Pup must be registered beginning with the kennel name G Force.
6.Buyer agrees to send a short note on how the pup is doing and photo of the purchased pup around the pups first birthday. Can be sent in e-mail or regular mail.
7. Buyer understands that the Seller has recommended crate training for the puppy for the puppies health and also for training purposes.
8. Buyer understands that Border Collies are very intelligent by nature and have been known to cause trouble by barking and doing other things to get attention as well as cure boredom. Buyer also understands that Border Collies are working dogs and should not be expected to ignore any livestock. If you have stock you will need to make sure you dog is properly trained not to go into the pens unless you are using the dog for herding. Buyer understands that since a Border Collie will herd anything that moves it is Buyers responsibility to train him/her not to herd children, cats ,other dogs or anything undesirable.
9. Buyer understands that the puppy/dog may be a little spooked once it gets to Buyer home and Buyer should give the puppy time to get acclimated and avoid over stimulating the pup for the first few days. Buyer also understands that pup may get an upset stomach due to the stress of a new home.
10. Buyer understands that some dogs go through a scary stage and that when this occurs the dog may get spooked easily, hide from strangers etc. It is just a stage that pups go through and the puppy should not be babied, it will get over it. Please call the Seller for tips or you can contact a trainer in your area. (Pups grow out of this stage)
11. Buyer agrees to allow pictures of pup before and after the sale to be posted on the Sellers web site or printed material.
12. Buyer understands that if Buyer decides to purchase another pup from Patricia Boswell and the dog listed above has earned any competition titles in sanctioned dog sporting events Buyer will receive an additional $100.00 off the price of a puppy.
13. If your pup is AKC registered, you will receive the pups individual application, (unless other arrangements are made), you will notice in the fields for the name,the word G Force. This is our kennel name and is to remain in the front of the name. Any spaces after that are used for the name you choose for the pup, unless otherwise agreed upon by the Seller and Buyer. You should mail this application within a months time. The AKC registration fee is $30.00 for registering your pup for the normal AKC papers, there is an extra charges for being late and it can be up to $65.00. The pups application will be mailed to you as soon as it is received by the Seller.
14. Buyer agrees to not purposefully jump the Pup over 12'' or expose the Pup to hard exercise prior 12 months of age
15. Buyer agrees to feed the Pup a super premium food or raw diet
16. Buyer agrees to maintain Pup in good health, vaccinate dog appropriately, keep Pup on heartworm prevention (where applicable) and take Pup to a veterinarian for annual exams.
17. Buyer understand we cannot guarantee temperament or behavior changes as a puppy ages and it is the buyers responsibility to train their puppy and take him/her to a trainer as needed.
18. Any additions or modifications must be agreed to in writing by both Buyer and Seller.
19. This agreement is only between the person who has signed this contract, should this pup be given away or sold to another person this contract is void.
20. Legal action shall be initiated in the parish of the Seller's residence.

Breeding the dog.
Pup is sold with AKC registration papers. Pup is sold on a limited registration ($1000). Limited Registration allows Pup to be shown in all performance events, but limits Pup from showing in conformation and Pup's offspring from being registered. Limited Registration can be changed to Full Registration at a later date when the Buyer has followed the 3 requirements, forwarded the results to Patricia Boswell, and an additional $500 is paid to Seller.
1. Dog must be mircrochipped prior to being OFA'd.
2. Dog must be OFA'd after 24 months of age and the dog must pass OFA's testing with either an Excellent, Good or Fair rating.
3. Dog must be DNA'd for CEA, though Optigen, prior to breeding to determine status.
Both of these requirements must be met in order for limited registration to be lifted and changed to full registration. Changing limited registration to full can take about a month depending on AKC's time frame once everything is submitted to them.
Buyer agrees in the event of breeding the Pup:
1.Pup will be bred to an AKC registered Border Collie whose hips are OFA certified Excellent, Good or Fair. In addition the G Force dog will only be bred to a dog who is DNA'd for CEA to insure only non affected puppies are produced.
2. Buyer agrees to offer a contract to buyers of all progeny of Pup.
3. A bitch Pup will not be bred prior to 2 years old and no litters after 9 years of age.
4. Bitch Pup will have no more than 7 lifetime litters with no more than 3 litters in any 24 month period
